Hello Beanbuffs,
Tomorrow is Coffee Satsang 2.0. I remember doing the last coffee meet up before Corona pandemic. Life happened, and I here I am inviting you all for a meet ups on every Saturday of the week. Starting tomorrow, I will be hosting fellow coffee lovers and bootstrappers.
But, first a quick update.
I have been roasting coffees; once every week. I have roasted more than 60 batches till date. I have experimented with blends and single estate coffees.
I purchased an espresso machine. It’s Profitec 800, a spring lever machine. It pulls espressos, the way it was pulled in 50s and 60s.
I also got a panini press, and learnt to make two types of Italian sandwiches.
I shifted places in Shahpurjat, and am back to my original location. It is on the ground floor. The kitchen is yet to be built, but who cares.
If you meet me tomorrow, I would love to meet you and make coffees and sandwiches. The menu is simple:
Espresso/ short black: traditional double shots
Long black: Espresso on top of the water
Latte: Espresso and steamed milk
Dirty coffee: Espresso on top of the cold milk
Sandwiches: Chicken or Tomato
Energy bars: The Whole Truth
When I write next, I will fill up the gaps. Learning a craft is an absolute joy and equally absolute pain. It’s all worth it, when I see my roasting improving and shots getting better.
